Promising Artists
The Promising Artists Contest, organized by Salahaldin Schools in Egypt, aims to Inspire Creativity, Raise Environmental Awareness, Foster Innovation, Promote Artistic Expression, and Encourage Advocacy.
Mission Statement
The Promising Artists Contest aims to nurture young talents by providing a platform for artistic expression that addresses critical environmental issues. Our mission is to inspire creativity, foster a deeper understanding of environmental stewardship, and encourage young minds to advocate for a sustainable future through the power of art.
Aims and Objectives
The Promising Artists Contest has the following aims and objectives
Inspire Creativity
Provide a platform for young artists to showcase their talents and explore their creative potential.
Raise Environmental Awareness
Encourage participants to use their art to highlight critical environmental issues and promote sustainable practices.
Foster Innovation
Challenge young minds to propose innovative solutions to environmental problems through their artwork.
Promote Artistic Expression
Celebrate diverse forms of artistic expression, including drawing, mixed media, and collage.
Encourage Advocacy
Empower students to become advocates for environmental stewardship and sustainable living.

Category 1:
Grades 5-6
(A4 or A3)
Category 2:
Grades 7-9 (45 cm x 60 cm)

Participation
If you are interested in participating in the contest, apply through your school Art teachers or administration.
School finalists will attend the grand final. Five students from each category will be selected to participate in the grand final event from each school.

Contest Rules
1
Participants are allowed to submit only one artwork.
2
The deadline to apply is November 21, 2024. No entries will be accepted after this date.
3
The final round will take place on December 14, 2024, at the Cairo branch.

No entry fee is required.
5
The organization committee reserves the right to cancel any category if the judging panel deems the quality or number of entries insufficient.

Round 1 will be managed by the school’s Art Department.
7
All entries must be original works.
8
Do not write your name on the artwork; teachers will assign a code to identify the applicant.
9
The artwork must be submitted by December 1, 2004. The Judges will evaluate the artwork before the grand final.
10
The finalists will write an artist statement and make a presentation. The statement and presentation must be submitted by December 8, 2024.
